To Catch a Thought

Have you ever had a moment when your creativity seems to hit a wall, or you just think that something's not right or ever marveled with ill-concealed envy at how these published writer's can just pull this off with seeming ease?  Dont' worry you're not the only one.
To Catch a Thought is a blog created to help inspire yourself as a writer and to inspire your writing.  At least once a week (hopefully more often though) I will post some bit of advice, or maybe review a book that I read that week, or a picture, an observation, or just something off the wall in an effort to get those creative juices going.  Hope you enjoy!

Mind racing in all directions
Directions too many to count
Count the ideas
Ideas flowing madly out of my pen
Pen scratching furiously on paper
Paper white, blank
Blank now filling with words
Words strong, bold
Bold strokes bring out my thoughts
Thoughts jumble until they tumble out
Out into the world
World of so many dreamers
Dreamers like me
Me untangling the mess
Mess of thoughts and opinions
Opinions hard to to express
Express with only pen and paper
Paper now filled
Filled with thoughts, dreams, and ideas
